On Wednesday, November 4, MTV has exclusively premiered a new trailer for Christmas' movie "Sherlock Holmes". The footage contains all kind of fights, including gunfights, sword fights, fistfights, lovers' fights, and fights involving electrocution. Some parts of the clip, moreover, offer glimpses of explosions, near-death experiences, and horse-carriage races that appear to top out at Ferrari-level speeds.
Beside all of those action scenes, the bromance between Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. is also highlighted in the clip. Jude has been booked to star as Dr. John Watson, while the "Iron Man" star portrays the titular character, Sherlock Holmes.
As of late, Robert Downey Jr. dished on his role on "Sherlock Holmes", saying "He's a total badass." The 44-year-old movie star then elaborated, "He thinks through all eventualities, possibilities and counterattacks when he's fighting, so he actually has the fight worked out before he starts."
In addition to Robert, director Guy Ritchie has promised that the film, which will hit U.S. theaters on December 25, will match "all tastes and age groups." He stated, "That's really the idea - for it to be a family movie. It has dark moments, but it's accessible. I'm a dad, and I want to go to my movies with kids as well."
