The international trailer for Mike Newell-helmed film "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" has been debuted. The footage highlights the background story of the movie as well as offers more action scenes of the the titular character, Jake Gyllenhaal's Dastan.
A day before the international trailer was released, Walt Disney Pictures has premiered the first official trailer for the flick. Posted via MySpace, the clip is narrated by Gemma Arterton's Tamina and gives fans a glimpse of the magical dagger and what it is capable of.
"Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" will follow Dastan, a prince in sixth-century Persia who must join forces with Tamina, a feisty and exotic princess. Both of them prevent a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world. Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the film is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on May 28, 2010.
