Adam Lambert and Gay Partner Drake LaBry Call It Quits

Adam Lambert and his boyfriend Drake LaBry are no longer together. According to a source close to the couple, Adam and Drake decided to call off their romance after they felt that "the relationship just ran its course."

Though they are not an item anymore, the runner-up of "American Idol" season 8 and the interior designer still keep their friendship. "They're still friends, and it's totally mutual. They will still talk and see each other," the source tells Us Magazine.

The source, moreover, cites the 27-year-old singer's hectic schedule as the reason for the break-up. "Adam is crazy busy right now getting the album done and squeezing in rehearsals," the source says of his major-label debut "For Your Entertainment", which will be made available in U.S. stores on November 23. "They both felt this moment is too important for Adam to focus on anything else but getting this album out and having it be a huge hit."

Adam Lambert and Drake LaBry made their debut appearance as a couple in June, during when the gay partners were pictured walking hand-in-hand at Guys & Dolls nightclub in West Hollywood. Then, on October 13, they were caught making out inside a car before dropping by 7-Eleven store in Los Angeles.
