Another actress has joined the cast ensemble for Kristen Stewart's "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse". A representative for Kirsten Prout has confirmed to E! Online that the 19-year-old beauty will be part of the third installment of the vampire drama movies, starring as vampire Lucy.
In the David Slade-directed film, Prout's character, Lucy, is described as a prominent part of the back story of Jackson Rathbone's Jasper Hale. She teams up with another vampire named Maria, who is played by Catalina Sandino Moreno, to build a bloodsucking army. Unfortunately, Maria and Jasper will eventually kill the Canada-born star, so she may not appear in the next "Twilight" film, "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn".
Kirsten Prout previously portrayed Abigail Miller in "Elektra" alongside Jennifer Garner. She has also made an appearance in sci-fi TV series "Stargate SG-1" to star as Nesa in the episode entitled "Birthright". Additionally, the young actress is currently playing Amanda Bloom in ABC's drama series "Kyle XY".
As for "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse", it revolves around Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan, who once again finds herself surrounded by danger. She is then forced to choose between her love for Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen and her friendship with Taylor Lautner's Jacob Black while knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. The flick is planned to hit U.S. theaters on June 30, 2010.
