Victoria Adams will possibly be seen in small screen anytime soon. According to The Daily Mirror, the former Spice Girls' member has landed a role in "Gossip Girl". Moreover, the site claimed she will take a flight to New York City and shoot her scenes for the TV series on Wednesday, October 21.
Victoria was reportedly persuaded by its star Blake Lively, who is a fan of Victoria's designs, to appear in the hit CW show. The actress and the show's stylist, Eric Damen, recently met the British star at the launching of Victoria's collection in New York City. "The trio started chatting and Victoria revealed she was a huge fan of the show. From here, Blake pleaded with her to guest star in an episode and ran the idea past producers," a source told The Daily Mirror.
About Victoria's possible involvement in the drama series, the source said, "She isn't an actress and wanted her role to be very tongue-in-cheek. And an idea for her to play Brit actor Ed Westwick's long-lost mother was quickly vetoed." Furthermore, the source revealed, "Victoria joked that she'd rather play his ex-love interest!" However, as of the press time, a representative for the Posh Spice has not confirmed or denied the news.
The third season of "Gossip Girl" has been aired on September 14. Some celebrities who have guest starred in the latest season include Hilary Duff and Tyra Banks. Moreover, Neal Bledsoe will make an appearance in an episode of the show and share a same-sex kiss with Ed Westwick's Chuck Bass.
