Cam Gigandet Has 'Very Cool Weapons' in 'Priest'
The star of "Priest", Cam Gigandet, has claimed his character in the upcoming movie will be full armed. Being interviewed by MTV, the actor stated, "I have very cool weapons. I have an unbelievable knife; I have an unbelievable gun." Joking about his weapons, the 27-year-old hunk said with laugh, "I have a handgun that's humongous. I mean, I can barely even hold it up. I also have a big shotgun strapped to my back. Not too shabby."

Beside talking about the weapons, Cam, whose character will be shot riding on a motorcycle, also shared about his costumes in the vampire-western film. "I have just the coolest wardrobe. I have the leather coat and leather pants and lots of leather," he said of his biker-cowboy outfits, which make him feeling "very warm" when shooting his scenes under the sun. He then added, "But [wearing the clothes and riding on the bike] is definitely one of the coolest things that you get to do-feeling like a badass."

Directed by Scott Charles Stewart, "Priest" will feature Paul Bettany as the leading actor. The film will follow a warrior priest, Ivan Isaacs, who disobeys church law by teaming up with a young sheriff, Cam Gigadet's Hicks, and a priestess played by Maggie Q to track down a group of renegade vampires who kidnapped his niece. Screen Gems plans to release the flick in U.S. theaters on August 13, 2010.
