Just hours before his performance in "Dancing with the Stars", Aaron Carter has got his knee injured during rehearsal with his partner Karina Smirnoff on Monday afternoon, October 5. A representative for the singer told The Insider that medics have tried to ice his bum knee, but a source informed that he may or may not dance on tonight's episode of the dancing competition.
Prior to Aaron, several contestants of the TV show's ninth season have also been injured. On Monday, September 28, blogger Lacey Schwimmer "severely strained" her hip flexors and abductors while rehearsing with her partner, "The Next Iron Chef" star Mark Dacascos. Meanwhile, "Entourage" actress Debi Mazar suffered pulled neck muscle while doing the fox-trot on Tuesday night, September 22. Additionally, Tom DeLay suffered a "pre-stress fracture" on his foot less than a week before the latest season of the ABC's show premiered on September 21.
As for Aaron Carter, the "Surfin' U.S.A." hitmaker previously has expressed his confidence to become the winner of "Dancing with the Stars". "There are no if's, and's or but's or possibilities or chances. I'm going to win 'Dancing with the Stars,'" he said during an interview with 104.3 MY FM's "Valentine in the Morning" on Monday, September 28.
