Tyra Banks Pictured Channeling Josephine Baker in 'Gossip Girl'

Another sneak peek at Tyra Banks' guest star appearance in an episode of "Gossip Girl" arrives. In an exclusive photo got by People magazine, the former model who plays Ursula Nyquist in the TV series is pictured channeling stage legend Josephine Baker. The image, which is taken in what looks like a wardrobe room, shows her sporting a short wig and pearl necklaces.

In the October 5 episode of the CW show, Tyra's role is described as an award-winning actress, who tries to offset some negative personal press by playing a real-life heroine, American-born French stage star Josephine, in an Oscar-worthy movie about the French Resistance during World War II. Talking about her look during the shoot for the drama series, she tells People, "The people at 'Gossip Girl' tell me I set a 'Gossip Girl' hair change record. I had SEVEN hair changes, every single scene you see is some new hair on my head."

Prior to the release of Tyra Banks' picture channeling Josephine Baker, a preview clip for an upcoming episode of "Gossip Girl" entitled "Dan de Fleurette" has been premiered, giving the first look at her as larger-than-life actress. In the video, Ursula Nyquist is filmed being introduced to Blake Lively's Serena van der Woodsen, who will serve as her publicist during the premiere of her movie.
