Chris Brown and Mary J. Blige are not among the headliners at Michael Jackson's tribute concert, which is planned by his brother Jermaine Jackson. Hours after the show's organizers announced that the Rihanna's ex-boyfriend and the R&B diva would take the stage during the concert on September 26 in Vienna, Austria, both musicians have denied their involvement in the event.
"Chris is not confirmed to perform or participate in any capacity for this show," the "With You" singer's spokesperson told E! Online. Later, similar statement was also released by Mary's aide, insisting that the "Family Affair" singer will be in Italy and not in Austria on the day of the tribute concert.
On September 8, organizers of Michael Jackson's tribute concert in Vienna announced that Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, and Akon are among top musicians who will perform at the show. Additionally, Jermaine Jackson said thirteen artists, including Sister Sledge, Natalie Cole, Angela Bassett, and the German-based boy band US5, have been confirmed to take part at the show. Moreover, Michael's band and dancers, who have been initially planned to perform at his London concerts, will be featured at the event, which will be held at 17th-century palace of Schonbrunn in Austria.
