Stephen Moyer has just dished about how he was inspired to propose to
Anna Paquin. He revealed that he chose to ask the important question to his "True Blood" co-star in a sandy beach in Hawaii after listening to a song from the first season of the TV series.
"There was a song in the first season, 'White Sandy Beach in Hawaii,' which was kind of funny and ironic...," Stephen told Laura Saltman from Access Hollywood while attending Nylon magazine party on Monday night, August 24. "[It] all started out as a joke and then we decided to go to Hawaii with my kids this year."
During the interview, Stephen also informed that he gave contribution to the idea of the design of Anna's engagement ring. "A friend of mine is the jeweler, Kathy Waterman," the British actor stated. "So I went to Kathy and we did some designs."
Stephen Moyer, who has had two children, Billy and Lilac, from his previous relationships, got engaged to Anna Paquin earlier this month, the news of which was confirmed by their representative. The two, who first met on the set of their TV series "True Blood", made their first public appearance as a couple in February.
