Ed Westwick's Chuck Bass is said to kiss a guy in an episode of 'Gossip Girl', in his effort to help Leighton Meester's Blair Waldorf getting a chance to deliver freshmen speech.
is said to have a gay kiss in an episode for the third season of "Gossip Girl". Entertainment Weekly reported that multiple insiders from the TV series informed the 23-year-old actor is currently shooting the episode in which his character Chuck Bass kisses another man.
The report additionally mentioned the guy that will share a kiss with Ed is Neal Bledsoe, the star of "CSI: NY" and "Guiding Light", who is guest starring in the sixth episode for the CW series. Neal will play Josh Ellis, a New York University's Head of Freshman Affairs, who is tasked to select an incoming student to give the freshman speech.

Leighton Meester's character Blair Waldorf is told very determined to deliver the freshmen speech. Thus, she convinces her boyfriend Chuck to seduce Josh to boost her chances at getting the gig, so said the insiders to .
"Gossip Girl" is based on series of novels by Cecily von Ziegesar, in which Chuck Bass is described as a bisexual. However, this will be his first gay encounter in the show. The third season of the TV series will start airing on September 14 and the shooting has begun since June 29 in New York City.
Included in the cast ensemble of the show, beside Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick, are
