Michael Lohan has claimed his daughter, Lindsay Lohan, feels 'extremely violated' after her house has been burglarized for the second time.
's home in Hollywood Hills has been burglarized for the second time. Her father, Michael Lohan, claimed the star is very upset about the incident, saying "[Lindsay] is not ok. she's very upset and feels extremely violated." The family patriarch continued defending his daughter, stating "I'm sick of people bugging my daughter and using her. This is not the first time she's been robbed."
Lindsay found out that she has been robbed when she arrived home on Sunday, August 23 at around 3 A.M. and found out some properties were missing from her house. "The safe was ripped out of the wall, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed," the actress' mother Dina Lohan informed about the burglary. She added, "Bags, shoes and jewelry were taken too. Thank God she wasn't home."
The Los Angeles Police Department have responded to a call from Lindsay's home. "All we can confirm is that we are investigating a possible break in at the residence and we still have officers on the scene. We got a call shortly before 7 A.M. this morning and it's still under investigation. No arrests have been made," a police spokesperson informed.
Regarding the possible suspects, Michael told he believes the burglary was possible an inside job because the people who work for Lindsay did not turn the security alarm on, making the house open to burglars. A surveillance video shows there were three men who broke into the house.
To find the robbers, Lindsay has worked with police as well as hired some detectives. "I'm working with the police but at the same time, I have my own people. I've hired private investigators and I'm going to work my own investigation and find out who did this," the 23-year-old beauty stated.
Back in May, intruders have tried to break into Lindsay Lohan's home. Two unidentified males were captured on surveillance video but they were unsuccessful and left the house after possibly being scared off by the alarm.
