Michael Jackson Allegedly Has Been Laid to Rest
After more than one and a half months since was pronounced dead, the late superstar reportedly has been laid to rest. According to Daily Mail, Michael finally has been buried in an unmarked plot at a Los Angeles cemetery and his brain, which was removed for toxicology tests, has been returned to his body for the burial.

The news additionally mentioned that Michael's body is believed to be buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood. It was also suggested that the King of Pop might be buried near the grave of his beloved grandmother Martha Bridges, who died in 1990.

While Michael's memorial service at Staples Center was attended by thousands of people, the family has tried to keep the plot's location a secret. A source from the cemetery said, "Other than the Jackson family and the Forest Lawn management, no one knows the exact spot." The source added, "Staff at the cemetery have been fed several locations, it's as if they're hoping to confuse everyone."

Moreover, it was said there are plans to move Michael's body if fans discover the singer's grave. The source also claimed Michael's burial place is kept secret for strong reason, stating "The fear is that thousands of Jackson fans will descend on the cemetery and damage or deface the grave."

Previously, there was rumor that the Jacksons have agreed to bury Michael Jackson at Forest Lawn cemetery in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles. At that time, a source said the Jackson family has signed papers that clear the way for the late singer to be buried at the public cemetery.

As for Michael's autopsy, the Los Angeles County Coroner's office announced on Monday, August 10, they have known the results. However, the coroner's office claimed the cause of the singer's death will not be made public while detectives are still investigating the case. Moreover, Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter refused to comment on when the results will be released.
