Tyra Banks Set to Guest Star in 'Gossip Girl'

Tyra Banks will make an appearance in an episode of CW series "Gossip Girl". A representative for the network has confirmed that the former supermodel is set to guest star in the season three of the TV series starring Blake Lively and Leighton Meester. The "America's Next Top Model" host will appear in the episode 4, in which Hilary Duff will also guest star as movie idol Olivia Burke.

According to her representative, Tyra will portray Ursula Nyquist, a character that is described as a larger-than-life actress. In the plot, Blake's Serena gets a job as a publicist who is assigned to control Ursula at the premiere of her latest film. The episode, which will feature Tyra, is scheduled to be aired on October 5.

Beside Hilary Duff and Tyra Banks, other guest stars in "Gossip Girl" third season include Joanna Garcia as preppie princess Bree Buckley and Michelle Trachtenberg as the notorious Georgina Sparks. The particular season of the drama series will be premiered on September 14.
