Josh Turner becomes father again. His wife Jennifer Ford Turner delivered their second son, Colby Lynch Turner, on Friday, June 26, a representative for the singer tells People.
"I'm just a proud daddy right now," Josh says, adding that his first son Hampton Otis Turner is very happy to have a sibling. "Hampton loves being a big brother, and we're just one big happy family," the 31-year-old singer states.
Gushing about the process of Colby's birth, the "Everything Is Fine" hitmaker recalls he received notice that his wife was in labor just hours after he finished recording his fourth album. "My producer, Frank Rogers, jokingly told Jennifer that she needed to wait until we finished my record before she had the baby," he testifies.
"We finished the album last Thursday at 6:00 P.M.," Josh continues. "After I got home, Jennifer went into labor and we were at the hospital by 10:30 that night. Now that's what I call perfect timing."
Josh Turner got hitched with backing vocalist/piano player Jennifer Ford Turner on June 14, 2003. Their first child, Hampton Otis Turner, was born on October 6, 2006. In February, the pair happily announced that they were expecting another child.
