Filming a new music video for her single "Obsessed", Mariah Carey was seen dressing like Eminem by donning a gray hoodie matched with loose white trousers and sneakers. The 39-year-old beauty seems to be responding to the rapper's unflattering references to her and hubby Nick Cannon in his single entitled "Bagpipes From Baghdad."
In the lyrics of "Obsessed", Carey reportedly tells Eminem, "Why are you so obsessed with me. Boy, I wanna know." Then, the lyrics continue, "Lying that you're sexing me. When everybody knows. It's clear that you're upset with me...You're delusional. Boy, you're losing your mind."
During the filming of the clip outside New York City's Plaza Hotel on Monday, June 29, Carey was also photographed donning a doorman uniform. Her appearance as a man is completed with fake beards.
Still on the same day, Carey was seen shooting the clip in a crowded street of New York City. At that time, she was spotted bringing lots of shopping bags. Some particular shots showed her carrying a white puppy on her hands.
"Obsessed" comes from Mariah Carey's 12th studio album "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel", which is scheduled to be released on August 25. The music video for the single was directed by Brett Ratner.
