Jonas Brothers' music video for their single entitled "Burnin' Up" grabbed a prize for UR Fave International Video of the Year category during 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards. Beside receiving the award, the musical trio also co-hosted and took the stage to perform the song during the show, which was held in Toronto, Canada on Sunday afternoon, June 21.
In addition to Jonas Brothers, singing sensation Lady GaGa also won a gong. She received an award for Best International Video Artist category for her tune "Poker Face". She also made a raunchy performance, which featured fake subway cars, dynamite, and a sparkling bustier, at the 20th annual event.
Another celebrity who also grabbed gongs during the event was rock band Nickelback. Their hit "Gotta Be Somebody" won awards for Best Video, Rock Video, and Post Production of the Year. Hip hop group Black Eyed Peas, in the meantime, earned International Video of the Year Group award for "Boom Boom Pow".
