Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz recently joined the NOH8 campaign. They were the latest celebrities to join the silent protest against Proposition 8 which banned gay marriage in California. As part of the campaign, the pair had photo shoot on Monday, June 8.
In the picture taken by Adam Bouska, Ashlee and Pete wore white shirts with NOH8 signature painted on Ashlee's right hand and cheek. Both of them had their mouths being sealed with duct tape which symbolized the unheard voices of those supporting gay marriage. In addition, the Jessica Simpson's sister also brought a bride veil.
Beside Pete, another musician who would be shot for the campaign is Blink-182's vocalist Mark Hoppus. Other celebrities who already joined in the protest against Proposition 8 included "The Hills" star, Kristin Cavallari, and model Tila Tequila.
