Covering Kanye West's song "Heartless" during "American Idol", the reality TV singing competition's season 8 winner Kris Allen hopes that he can work together with him in the future. "Thank you for writing the song. The whole CD is amazing. Hopefully, we can work together. That'd be great," Kris said to Kanye.
In related news, Kris Allen admits he is still getting used to his newfound fame. "A lot of friends and family I don't even know are calling... a lot of people coming out of the woodwork," he stated after performing on "Live with Regis and Kelly".
Kris has been crowned 2009 "American Idol" champion on Wednesday night, May 20, besting Adam Lambert, who was everyone's favorite and was predicted to take the title.
