One of Hewitt's longtime pals informed that the couple has bought each other ''love bracelets'' from luxury jewelers Cartier, but "they've also been shopping for an engagement ring for Jennifer."
The pal said, "She is simply a girl who always needs a man in her life and is getting nervous that she may miss out on marriage and having a family." Hewit indeed has history of taking her relationships to the next level shortly after she begins dating her lovers. And, this time is no difference. She takes her relationship with Kennedy to the next level even though they just started dating since March this year.
The 30-year-old actress got closed with Kennedy since her split from fiance Ross McCall late last year (2008). The pair met on the set of "Ghost Whisperer" in which Kennedy became her co-star. Since then, their friendship turned into romance.
