23-year-old heartthrob Robert Pattinson was seen hooking up with a Los Angeles' resident named Erika Dutra. Life and Style snapped the twosome canoodling at the amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS 2009 benefit at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France on Thursday, May 21.

"Erika was introduced to Robert by a mutual friend at the beginning of the night and he was smitten with her from that point on," an eyewitness said of the twosome. "He took pictures of her, sat with her all night, and the two of them were even seen kissing! There was serious chemistry between them, and they looked like they were having an amazing time. Erika and Robert even left the party together!"

Still at the same event, Robert Pattinson contributed an estimated $55,000 to charity. The "Remember Me" actor gladly kissed two girls at the auction, which was initiated by movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. "Harvey put him on the spot, in a playful way. And Rob agreed to it in his usual brooding, modest way," another source recalled.
