Mariah Carey and her hubby Nick Cannon celebrated their first wedding anniversary at Moon nightclub in Las Vegas on Thursday, April 30. The couple invited about 50 guests, including L.A. Reid, Tyrese Gibson, Sanaa Lathan, and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. to come to the event.
"It's a very special occasion," Cannon said to the guests at the venue, where he was deejaying. The 28-year-old actor prepared a four-foot birthday cake inside the club. Additionally, he showed a video presentation of the intimate moments from his first year of marriage with Carey. Shortly after the video was shown, the "Touch My Body" songstress was snapped crying.
"This is the most amazing person in the world," he stated about his wife. "I dedicate my life to her daily, and together this union is gonna last forever. She is my rock." Then, Carey chimed in, "I have the best man in the whole wide world."
The celebration was then continued by releasing 1.000 balloons into the sky and toasting, which Cannon dedicated for his wife, whom he married in Bahamas on April 30, 2008. Before going to the club, the guests were invited to have dinner at the Palms Casino Resort's Palms Place.
