Kate Hudson's mother, Goldie Hawn, reportedly expects her daughter to date Justin Timberlake. The 63-year-old comedy legend is also said to be "overjoyed" when Kate's on-and-off beau Owen Wilson didn't come to the "Bride Wars" actress' 30th birthday bash in Palisades, California two weeks ago.
"Goldie never thought Owen was right for Kate and is desperate for her to hook up with Justin," a source tells The Globe. Additionally, the source claims that Goldie has offered herself to be the "professional matchmaker" for Kate and Justin.
"Goldie thinks Owen is nice enough guy, but his mood swings and shocking suicide attempt turned her off. She wants Kate to be in a healthy relationship for herself and her 5-year-old son Ryder and she thinks Justin would be a perfect match," says the source. Then, another source chimes in, "Justin and Kate have had a close friendship for a couple of years. Now Goldie hopes it will develop into something more."
Two weeks ago, Kate Hudson invited Justin Timberlake, who currently is dating Jessica Biel, to come to her star-studded 30th birthday party. At that time, Justin was said to be "the life of the party". "He was dancing, drinking tequila, and he had everyone doing the 'electric slide' on the dance floor," a source previously said of the "Sexy Back" singer.
