Again, Sean Penn Files for Divorce From Wife Robin Wright Penn

Sean Penn has filed for legal separation from his wife of 13 years Robin Wright Penn again, Extra reported. "The Assassination of Richard Nixon" actor filed court papers in Marin County, California on Friday, April 24. He sought the physical and legal custody of his teenage children, Dylan Frances and Hopper Jack. He also requested the court not granting any spousal support to Robin.

Speculation on the couple's split sparked after Sean forgot to thank Robin during his acceptance speech at the 2009 Oscars, during when he received Best Actor Award for his role in "Milk". About the matter, the 48-year-old star told Oprah Winfrey at her show "The Oprah Winfrey Show", "I wanted to keep things focused on the professional team around this movie. Because with Robin comes my mother and my son and my daughter, and half of them will punish me if I mention them."

Sean Penn got married to Robin Wright Penn on April 27, 1996. Back in early December 2007, the couple started divorce proceedings in Marin County Superior Court. However, the petition reportedly dismissed several days later. Surprisingly, on December 21 of the same year, Robin filed for divorce due to irreconcilable differences, Extra reported.
