33-year-old actress Kate Winslet says she is very proud of her body that she gladly gets her kit off for several movies. "With the nudity in 'The Reader', for example, even I was like, 'Damn, I look good,'" she reveals. "And that was the lighting - it was a bit of body make-up. I don't believe in pretending those things don't go on."
Though so, Kate admits she still remembers her nickname, Blubber, which was given in school when she was fat. "I was bullied for being chubby. Where are they now!" she tells Marie Claire for its June edition. "I had, 'No one will ever fancy me!'...well into my teens. Even now I do not consider myself to be some kind of great, sexy beauty. Absolutely not."
As time went by, as claimed by Kate, she became more confidence with her body. About that she states, "I don't mind the way I'm aging...I think I look my age, and that's fine," adding, "I don't think I look younger than 33 and I don't think I look particularly older than 33. I think I'm sort of holding it together."
