Mariah Carey reportedly has spent 200,000 dollars to buy furniture, including a pink crib and highchair, at a kids' store in San Fransisco. She has also called an interior decorator in order to get advice on styling the nursery. "She has asked interior decorator Kenneth Bordewick to advise on her new home and has requested an all-pink nursery. It's going to be over the top!" a source says.
Although Carey has allegedly bought baby items, she hasn't confirmed yet about the pregnancy rumor. Another source claims that Carey, who was married to Nick Cannon in April 2008, currently is planning to adopt a child. "Mariah has tossed around the idea of adopting," the source states. However, Cannon is not yet ready to have children soon. "We'll have kids soon. Like a couple of years soon," the 28-year-old actor admits.
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon recently made an offer of 125 million dollars French Chatreau-style mansion in Los Angeles. The mansion is a "minipalace with Italian marble walls, French limestone floors, gold-embossed leather wall coverings, a nine-car garage, ballroom, private running track and movie screening room". "It's 45,000 sq ft and looks like a European castle. It's so big, it can't even be called a mansion...it's similar to Buckingham Palace!" a source testifies about the home-to-buy.
