Jonas Brothers hope that President Barack Obama's daughters, Sasha and Malia Obama, will come to their upcoming concert at Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center on July 13. "Hopefully, the family will come out and watch the show," Kevin Jonas told E! Online during a JoBros conference call on Wednesday, March 18 with reporters. "They're always invited."
The boys, previously, performed at a private concert, "Kids' Inaugural: We Are the Future", for the Obama girls and their friends at the White House on January 19. At that time, President Barack Obama and wife Michelle Obama were sharing their first dance at the Neighborhood Ball. "They (Jonas Brothers) were invited to surprise the girls and their friends and [the Jonas Brothers] had a blast," JoBros' spokesperson said of the surprise, which Michelle helped to organize.
Still in the same conference call, Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Kevin Jonas also stated that they didn't want to focus on dating. They, on the other hand, insisted to get closer to their fans. "We've got a lot going on in our lives, and I think for us, we're focused on that," Nick said. "And we keep a little time for dating, but for the most part we're focused on working on the TV show...we just finished that...and now with this new tour. We're really trying to connect with our fans. They're the most important thing in the world to us."
