Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have decided to leave their house in California's San Fernando Valley as they hope to start a family over the hill in Los Angeles. Insisting that New York is not a good place to raise kids, the twosome has been looking for mansions.
It was also reported that Carey has splashed out over 200,000 dollars in order to buy new furniture at Beverly Hills' trendy Kreiss store, even though they haven't got the new house. "They still don't have a house yet, but they do have an interior designer helping them make their choice and they've ruled out buying a place in the Valley," a source told WENN.
Mariah Carey got hitched to Nick Cannon in April 2008. The couple was lately spotted holding hands and laughing as they left the Southern California Reproductive Center on February 19. Rapper Cannon always hopes to have a big family with Carey. "Maybe we'll have as many (kids) as the Octo-mom," he said. Besides, a source told publication, "Mariah has always wanted a baby."
