Zac Efron's Christmas Gift From Mom: Condoms

Zac Efron's mother, Starla, is aware that her 21-year-old son is an adult. The pictures that surfaced last year of the actor and his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, in what appeared to be a sex shop, had apparently raised her eyebrows.

Now, Zac has clarified the location of the photos, telling the April issue of Elle magazine, "It was Hallows Eve like, two years ago. It was just a costume store." He continues, "In the back they have an adult section for adult costumes. And this nice older woman asked for a photo."

"My mom is like, 'Zac, what did you buy in a sex shop?' I was like 'Mom, calm down, it's not a sex shop.' She wouldn't have any of it. She's like, 'I knew you were being sexual!'" admitted the "High School Musical" hunk. "But she understood. My stocking was full of condoms this Christmas. She buys me the economy box."

In related news, Zac Efron was spotted stepping out on Thursday morning, March 5. Wearing a gray t-shirt and jeans, the actor casually tossed his hair as he left his house alone.
