Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus among others hit the red carpet of the 81st Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, February 22.

Celebrities glam the red carpet of the 81st Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, February 22. Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus are among stars attending the prestigious event held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Posing for photographers at the event, Zac and Vanessa look perfectly matching in their black outfits. The 20-year-old actress is seen wearing a gorgeous Marchesa gown. During the ceremony, the lovebirds will join host Hugh Jackman, "Mamma Mia!" stars Amanda Seyfreid and Dominic Cooper, Beyonce Knowles and Anne Hathaway for a special performance.

Meanwhile, Miley looks elegant in a silver Zuhair Murhad gown. The "Hannah Montana" starlet completes her red carpet look with a Mary Norton clutch, Neil Lane jewels and BCBG shoes. Her animated flick, "Bolt", is nominated for Best Animated Feature.

Oscars nominees Mickey Rourke, who is up for Best Actor for his role in "The Wrestler, Kate Winslet, who is nominated for Best Actress, and Taraji P. Henson, who is nominated as Best Supporting Actress for her role in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" among others are also seen hitting the red carpet. "Slumdog Millionaire" stars Freida Pinto and Dev Patel, Hollywood's golden couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, singer Alicia Keys and supermodel Heidi Klum, who is accompanied by her hubby Seal, are also in attendance.
