After being hospitalized due to premature contractions, Charlie Sheen's wife Brooke Mueller is ready to throw baby shower on February 21.
's wife Brooke Mueller is recently "at home doing fine", as being told by Stan Rosenfield, Sheen's rep to People. "[She is] looking forward to her shower," the rep added.
The couple plans to hold the baby shower on Saturday February 21. They moreover are planning to donate some of the gifts they receive during the event to charity. "I am invited. Apparently, I don't have to do anything, just show up and collect gifts. But there will be more stuff that goes to charity," Sheen told People, adding, "People that don't need it get the most stuff, and that's what's wrong with the world."
In addition to the baby shower plan, the twosome is also busy finishing their twins' nursery so they can relax in the weeks before the birth. "We have a deadline. It's that last-minute push with the paint, furniture and all the accessorizing and all that, but it's going to be lovely," Sheen said.
Brooke Mueller (31) was rushed to a Los Angeles-area hospital on Tuesday morning, February 17 while Charlie Sheen (43) was in Las Vegas for the launching of his DaVinci Collection by Charlie Sheen clothing line. She got premature contractions "which is not uncommon at this stage of a pregnancy carrying twins", Sheen's rep confirmed to UsMagazine on February 18.
Mueller and Sheen wed in a Beverly Hills estate on May 30, 2008. It's the third marriage for the "Two and a Half Men" actor and the first for Mueller, a real estate agent and former actress. She is scheduled to give birth to the twin boys in April.
