"Good Girl Gone Bad" Rihanna will shun her skimpy outfits when she performs in Malaysia next month.
R'n'B singing sensation
Rihanna will perform in Malaysia next month. And the "Good Girl Gone Bad" has promised to be good girl for one night, shunning her sexy outfits during her Malaysian show, reports The Associated Press.
The Barbados-born hottie has been known for her sexy stage outfits. But Rihanna will abide by the Muslim-majority country's strict rules on performers' dress when she performs in Kuala Lumpur on February 13.
Government guidelines state that a female performer must be covered from the top of her chest, including her shoulders, to her knees. And Rihanna's management is "aware of the country's regulations and the difficulties of doing a show," managing director of Pineapple Concerts Razman Razali revealed to The AP.
Last year, the organizers of
The Pussycat Dolls' concert were fined nearly $3,000 after the girl band was accused of flouting decency regulations. Besides, recent concerts by
Gwen Stefani and
Avril Lavigne also faced protests by conservative Muslim Malaysians over immodest dress.
