Opening up that she likes the change of her body, Cate Blanchett also reveals that her husband would divorce her if she went under the knife.
likes to maintain her beauty naturally. In her confession to Vanity Fair in its February issue, she declares that she likes to see her post-baby body. Admitting that she doesn't live in an environment which is obsessed with plastic surgery, the Oscar-winning actress for "
The Aviator" also states that her personal reasons for not doing it.
Unlike some other celebrities who go under knife to maintain their svelte figure, Blanchett says that she likes her body although it has changed after giving birth. The 39-year-old star reveals, "When you've had children, your body changes; there's history to it. I like the evolution of that history," while adding, "I'm fortunate to be with somebody who likes the evolution of that history."
Although Blanchett tries to keep her body as natural as possible, she admits she isn't "a spokesperson against the world of injectables." For that reason, she explains, "I think it's important to not eradicate it. I look at someone's face and I see the work before I see the person...." About the medical surgery, she comments, "If you're doing it out of fear, that fear's still going to be seen through your eyes," adding the eyes are "the windows to your soul, they say."

I'm Not There" leading star then continues stating that her playwright/screenwriter husband, Andrew Upton, feels OK with her appearance. "I'm not a trophy. He likes the vessel, but he also wants to make sure the vessel is full," she claims. "Andrew [Upton] said he'd divorce me if I did anything."
