50 Cent's Reality Show Canceled Due to Disappointing Ratings
might be disappointed after knowing that MTV has decided to cancel his MTV reality show. After one month on the air, "50 Cent: The Money and the Power" will be permanently shelved because of its disappointing ratings.

About this, MTV Entertainment President Brian Graden revealed the network's desire to find better shows. Brian said MTV wants shows that better "reflect Generation 'Why Not?' - living, working and playing on their own terms, 'adventure capitalists' if you will, pursuing a variety of thrill-seeking, 2.0, express-yourself enterprises."

"Our new shows will feature themes of affirmation and accomplishment," Brian added. Furthermore, he explained, "Our shows are going to focus less on loud and silly hooks and more on young people proving themselves. These are themes that are consistent with the Obama generation."
