Selena Gomez spills in the latest issue of Tiger Beat about dating issues. The "Wizards of Waverly Place" cutie gives advice on "tough crush problems" and talks about how she has been told "no" by a lot of boys.
"You need to remember that there will always be opportunities. I have been said 'no' to a lot," she says. But Selena was OK because it made her become "a stronger person". "...and I'm glad I got all those 'nos' because if anything, it made me a stronger person," adds the actress.
"I had a crush on a boy for three years and nothing ever happened," the 16-year-old girl recalled her experience when she fell for a boy and decided to stay friends with him. "We stayed friends and eventually the crush wore off," the Disney darling confesses.
To the magazine, Selena also reveals her date curfew. "My curfew is 11. But if it's at my house and we're having a family get together, it can go a little later," explains the actress, who is rumored to be dating Nick Jonas.
About introducing a boy to her parents, Selena says, "As soon as the date's over, I have him come in and meet my parents." Further, the teen sensation reveals, "The house rules are if my parents don't like, I don't like him."
