Jessica Simpson couldn't hide her happiness to the birth of Bronx Mowgli Wentz, Ashlee Simpson's newborn-baby who was born on November 20 night. The actress/singer gave her comment about the baby to Us Weekly on November 21 in a statement, saying, "Bronx is beyond precious. I'm over the moon with joy. Life is a beautiful miracle. Ashlee and Pete are healthy, happy, and enjoying every moment."
Over the new addition to the Simpson's family members, a representative for the couple told Us Weekly on November 21 morning, "Proud new parents Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz welcomed new son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, late this evening." The rep also cited, "[They] thank everyone for their well wishes!" It was said that Bronx Mowgli Wentz weighed in at 7 lbs, 11 oz and was 20.5 inches long at time of birth.
In "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on November 19, Jessica said that Ashlee was doing everything to induce labor. Of it, the Texas-born star said, "Different foot massages and stuff. I don't know. I think she's really just jumping around trying everything right now."
