Carrie Underwood graces the cover of Elle magazine for its December issue. The "Last Name" singer revealed to the magazine that she hasn't been in contact with his ex-beau Tony Romo since May.
"I haven't talked to him since, like, May," she told Elle. "It was just something that was said in passing," Carrie said, referring to an interview in which she said the Dallas Cowboys quarterback still called her.
But the former winner of "American Idol" confessed she didn't mean to hurt anybody with her claims, saying "I would never mean to say anything to hurt anybody or to stir up anything because I'm just not about drama - at all." As for reports that Tony's girlfriend Jessica Simpson was upset by the claims, she added, "I might be mad too if somebody said my boyfriend was calling some other girl. So I can definitely see where [she] would be coming from."
About her current dating life, Carrie has denied rumors that she dated Olympic champion Michael Phelps. "I swear on everything, on my job, on my house, my dog," the singer said. "That's how serious I am. It's all just a lie."
But the 25-year-old beauty played politically correct while commenting on relationship with Travis Stork. "If I say I am [dating someone] or I'm not, as soon as this magazine comes out, it might be the opposite of what I tell you now. In three months, it'll be 'Carrie said she's not dating anybody,' yet last night, I was out on the town with some guy. He's going to get mad at me. Everybody's going to think I'm a liar. It's just best not to go there," said Carrie, who was reportedly seen getting cozy with the former "The Bachelor" star at Parc restaurant in Philadelphia on October 20.
