Promoting his brand new single, titled "I'm So Paid," in which he sings with Lil Wayne, Akon has premiered its music video. The music clip shows Akon becoming an agent just like James Bond who has secret mission.
The music video begins with the scene which shows Akon landing to a private ship from a copter, meeting a rich woman to sell a fake diamond. He succeeds in cheating the woman after he gets the help from the girl who works for her. Going out of the ship together with the girl, Akon manages to flee with lots of money.
Along the way, Akon and the girl are followed by motor riders. The girl throws money to those riders in order to escape from them. After being safe, Akon gives all of the money to the girl in order to get the real diamond. In the end of the video, the girl finally finds out that the money is also totally fake.
The "I'm So Paid" music video was directed by Gil Green. It also features DJ Khaled, artist from Akon's Konvict Muzik label named Tami Chynn, and Cash Money artist Lil Chuckee as cameos.
"I'm So Paid" is the second single and the first track from Akon's third album "Freedom," which will be released on December 2, 2008. Along with "I'm So Paid," this album also includes his first single "Right Now (Na Na Na)."
Besides, Akon recently also teamed up with Flo Rida for the "Low" hitmaker's new song "Guarantee." Along with that, he has also been featured on The Game's "Gangsta Party" and DJ Khaled's "Cocaine Cowboy."
