Pete Wentz claimed that his singer wife Ashlee Simpson is ready to deliver their first baby soon. This Fall Out Boy bassist and back-up vocalist opened his secret to Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM radio show on Thursday morning, October 30. "I'm permanently on-call right now," said the 29-year-old star. Talking further about her wife's pregnancy, he revealed, "She is at the very end, and it could happen at any point now."

Being asked about Simpson's feelings, Wentz was cited saying, "excited, she's anxious...I think she wants it to be over. She just wants to not be pregnant any more. She wants to have it because it's, like, a struggle to go up and down the stairs...going out in public's insane." Pete added more, "She's hot all the time. She's like 'I wish I was in Canada right now.' Our room temperature is set to, like, 34 degrees. It's insane!"

Having announced the pregnancy in May right after they got married, Pete also admitted that they have not decided yet a name for the baby. "I want to meet them first," he said. Also, the back up vocalist denied hie earlier statement that the baby's sex was boy. The star went on further, "My brother was almost a Duncan, and he's Andrew now. I think it might have ruined his life more if he was a Duncan."

Wentz and Simpson tied the knot on Saturday evening, May 17, at the Encino home of the Ashlee's parents. In that Alice in Wonderland-themed wedding, Ashlee's dad, Joe Simpson, held the non-denominational ceremony while Ashlee's older sister, Jessica Simpson, became maid of honor. On the special day, the 24-year-old singer wore an ivory lace wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier and diamond-adorned necklace and earrings by William Noble.
