Stacy Ferguson, also known as Fergie, is piling up pounds on her scale for "Nine". That admittance comes from the 33-year-old singer/actress herself as she was quoted saying, "I was actually told to gain weight for the film so I've been eating everything, anything and everything."
Although admitting that she has put up some weight, she revealed that her legs stay slim as before. "That's why I am covering up except for my legs because they never gain weight and that's the only part that never changes but everything else is covered," she added. The supporting star of "Grindhouse" also fessed up that gaining weight is not a difficult problem since she likes eating a lot of fish and chips.
In "Nine", Fergie portrays a prostitute named Saraghina that takes Guido, a film director to "a world of sensuality". Not only will Fergie show her acting performance, but she also will show her singing talent in the film. "It's a wonderful piece," she talked about her musical number. "It's actually great to be singing not as myself but as a character, so it's fun. I am excited for people to see that."
"Nine" is adapted from the 1982 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical that is based on an Italian play by Mario Fratti inspired by Federico Fellini's autobiographical film. "Nine" revolves around Guido Contini who tries to finish his latest film and maintain his relationship with many women, including his wife, his producer, his mistress, his film star and his deceased mother.
