Backing Barack Obama, Eminem Will Vote for Him in the U.S. Presidential Election
Add to the list of celebrities who support presidential hopeful Barack Obama. The hip hop star has revealed he is backing the Democratic presidential candidate in the U.S. presidential election next month.

Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, confessed he will be voting for Obama in the presidential election on November 8. The 36-year-old rapper said America "needs something to change" and described Obama as a "breath of fresh air".

"I'll vote for Barack. I can't get too political because I don't know enough (about the candidates' policies)," Eminem told Radio 1. "I mean, I know we are going into a recession. Pardon the cliche but we need something to change. I think Barack would be a breath of fresh air, to get in there and actually get what's left of the Bush administration out the door," he added.

During the interview, Eminem also talked about his forthcoming album "Relapse". "For probably the past five months pretty much straight I've been working with Dre," said the "Without Me" singer. "There's going to be a lot of material, more so than any album that I have had with him producing."
