Other celebrities may be shocked when they are rumored to be gay. But it doesn't happen to pop star Pink. The 29-year-old singer is unfazed though she's said to be bi-sexual. She's even proud to be considered a part of gay community.
In early days of her career, Pink, who recently split from hubby Carey Hart, was often mistaken for a lesbian because of her tomboy look. But the "Get the Party Started" singer said she loves challenging the public's opinion of her.
"I'm proud people think I'm gay. Everyone has always thought I was gay because of the tattoos, the short hair, the attitude," the two-time Grammy-winning singer said. "But I don't care. I love to challenge people's preconceptions."
Pink also said that she'd happily use her popularity to draw attention to the inequalities in American society. "Loads of my friends are lesbians and it really annoys me that gay people aren't allowed to get married in most parts of America," added the "So What" singer. "I'd go on a march for gay rights any time."
