Mark Wahlberg Postponing Early Retirement
has pushed back his proposed retirement five years from his original plan. Unveiling the delay of his retirement at the age of 40-year-old, reports claimed that the actor has exposed he now plans on leaving his acting career by the age of 45-year-old saying, "Maybe I'll retire at 45 now. We'll see."

Some speculated that Wahlberg decides to delay his previous retirement plan because he enjoys very much the success of being an actor. It is said that his interest to prolong his career in entertainment industry is stimulated especially by the success of his latest movie "" on securing the the U.S. box office's #1 slot.

Beside pushing his retirement back for a few years, he also revealed the reason why he wants to retire at an early age. Of it, he explained, "I do want to be able to take my kids to school and drag them to the golf course with me. I can't be working at the pace that I am for much longer."

Additionally, he also shared about his thought on being a director for his future career. He said, "The experience working with Peter Jackson was like no other. I've always wanted to direct and I thought that, after working with many of the great directors, that I picked up a lot of things along the way."

"I don't think you could do what Peter Jackson could do and I would like to at least shoot for that level of ability one day. I don't think I'll ever get there but (the movie) was the most amazing experience of my career," he further added.
