Nick Lachey and his girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo have sparked speculation they may be on the verge of a breakup after being seen having a "tense" dinner last month.

Vanessa Minnillo was said to be in trouble. The two were spotted sharing a dinner that OK! magazine claimed to be a "tense" dinner last month.
According to OK!, Nick and Vanessa were seen having the "tense" dinner at the Cheesecake Factory in Sherman Oaks, California on September 25. This then fueled speculation that the couple may be on the verge of a breakup.
"They appeared to be extremely tense and irritated with each other. They were having some sort of verbal tiff at their table, and they looked miffed," an eyewitness told OK!. "They looked dour when they sat down, annoyed over dinner and still upset by the time they left the restaurant at the end of their meal. It may have been a minor squabble, but they looked like they'd rather be anywhere but with each other."
It's not the first time their relationship were rumored to be on the rock. Back in March, Nick and Vanessa were said to had split after National Enquirer reported that they're involved in an argument while having a dinner at L.A.'s Katsuya. But a rep for the ex-husband of
Jessica Simpson insisted that the rumors were untrue.
