Selena Gomez's Halloween for UNICEF
Disney darling knows what she'll be doing for Halloween this year. The teen sensation displays her charitable side as she'll be helping encourage kiddies to help out other children around the world.

Selena was recently named the face of 2008 Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign. This October will mark the 58th anniversary of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, which encourages American children to make Halloween count by helping other children around the world.

"I am extremely excited to be this year's Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF spokesperson," said the "Wizards of Waverly Place" starlet. "I want to help encourage other kids to make a difference in the world."

About Selena's involvement in the campaign, President and CEO of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF Caryl Stern said that they are "thrilled" to have the 16-year-old actress. "We are thrilled to have Selena be a part of the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF program this year," Caryl said. "Young people can relate to Selena, and she is a great role model who we believe will greatly enhance the visibility of the program."
