Lindsay Lohan: 'Samantha Ronson Is a Great Person'

Lindsay Lohan may be playing coy about her relationship with Samantha Ronson. But the 22-year-old actress openly told Marie Claire magazine in its October issue about the DJ, saying she's a great person.

"I'm really happy," she said. The "Chapter 27" star insisted that Samantha has been a positive force in her life. "(Sam's) a great person. And she's a great influence on people around her," Lindsay told the magazine.

Lindsay appeared to leave her partying lifestyle after starting a relationship with Samantha earlier this year. But the "Freaky Friday" star revealed it's her decision to lead a quieter life, and not that of the 31-year-old DJ. "But I think that anything that's changed (in) my life is because of me. I've gone through it, and I've learned to deal with it and I've made the decision to move forward," she added.

To Marie Claire, Lindsay also talked about her and Samantha's matching tattoos. "Samantha has a bunch of stars, so I got that," the actress said, referring to a star tattoo on her hand. She then pointed to a little heart, saying "she got this."
