Burlesque model Dita Von Teese has unveiled some pieces from her new lingerie collection. Lingerie collection of 1940's and 1950's has reportedly inspired her to design the underwear for Wonderbra. It was created and modeled by the 35-year-old model herself.
Dita's lingerie collection includes three different ranges, Multi-Tesse, Spot-Teese and Satin-Teese. The limited edition underwear collection will go on sale on September 23. "I love it when you can go about your daily business with the knowledge that you have a little secret of your own on underneath," she said of the lingerie line.
"Lingerie shouldn't be something you just put on for your lover; you should do it for you," added the model who performed naked except for $5 million worth of diamonds for a benefit show at the New York Academy of Art back in 2005. "It's not about seducing men, it's about embracing womanhood."
Dita is not the only artist who have modeled for the iconic push-up bra brand. Other beauties modeled for the brand include Eva Herzigova and Adriana Karembeu. "I really hope that with this new range I can share my passion for sensual, wearable lingerie that will add a touch of glamour to people's everyday lives," Dita added.
