Britney Spears apparently wants to win a 50-50 sole legal custody of her two sons that will be decided permanently in August. The singer has reportedly started mediation dialog earlier this week with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
According to Kevin's attorney, the mediation is aimed at settling a win-win solution for both sides and therefore avoiding the August trial. According to a source, the mediation has so far carried a positive mood.
The former teen pop star has recently lost custody of her two children in January after two brief hospitalizations for psychiatric evaluation after a year of increasingly bizarre behavior. Then, to gain more custodial time with his sons, Britney has recently been ordered to increase her financial support for the boys from $15,000 to $20,000 a month. Also, Britney has been demanded to pay Kevin's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, $125,000 for his work to help her. She was then given an additional overnight visit with her boys.
