It seems Miley Cyrus is trying to avoid media speculations about a potential boyfriend for her, thus admitting she's still single. However, the teen sensation, who previously admitted that she was too busy to have a serious boyfriend, also hinted that she's looking for a real beau whom she could be with whenever she goes.
The Disney starlet told Bailey Monte on "Today Show" on Thursday, July 24 that she is tired of being rumored to be dating with guys whom she is actually not dating with. "It is hard when you are hanging out with guys, even guys that are just your friends," she stated. The beauty went on, "It's automatically your boyfriend, because that's what the media thinks. I think it's good if you can be able to have guy and girl friends that, you know, understand you ... and it stinks when we go out; people automatically think we're together."
Moreover, when Bailey asked Miley "Do you have a boyfriend right now?", she just simply replied, "No,". But the 15-year-old star then added with a laugh, "Lookin'."
Miley reportedly once had a romantic relationship with Jonas Brothers' Nick Jonas, but both teen sensations have since denied the rumors. Meanwhile, the "Hannah Montana" star has recently been reported dating her co-star Lucas Till. Gossip site Showbizspy has quoted a source as saying, "The moment Miley saw Lucas' photo, she knew he was perfect to play her on-screen love. Once they began shooting, she totally fell for him. It was as if she decided she wanted him and would have him - like Lucas would have no choice in the matter... She is always cuddling up to him and kissing him on the cheek."
In Miley previous news, she revealed that she was too busy to have a serious boyfriend, thus preferred to be the person everyone talks about and wanted to stay as no one's girlfriend. "I think I'm too much to handle right now. There's so much going on in my life at the moment with traveling and there's always cameras following me - all that kind of stuff. I don't think it's great for dating anyone. There are guys I like to hang out with, but I like to be the girl who no one can get. I think that's always hotter anyway. It's much more attractive to be the person everyone talks about," Miley said in May.
