Lindsay Lohan and her lesbian lover DJ Samantha Ronson apparently take their relationship to the next level. After confirming her gay love affair with the DJ, the actress was seen wearing a diamond ring, fueling speculation about a possible engagement.
Samantha has splashed out on an $22,000 Cartier diamond ring for Lindsay as the actress celebrated her 22nd birthday earlier this month. While speculation on the couple's engagement are still swirling, a source claimed that the ring isn't an engagement ring, but a promise one.
Mirror has quoted a source as saying, "Sam took Lindsay shopping to celebrate her 22nd birthday. Although Lindsay is the major breadwinner, Sam has her own money and is very proud." Concerning the promise ring, the source went on adding, "It's not an engagement ring - simply a token of her commitment. Lindsay is thrilled and she and Sam are very content."
Lindsay recently decided to come out to family and friends, admitting her lesbian relationship with Samantha. The actress made a wish, as well as lesbian confession, during her birthday bash on Wednesday night, July 1. "I just wanna live a happy, healthy year, continue on the path that I've been on and be with the person that I care about. And my family," Lindsay replied when was asked by friends what her hopes are for the coming year.
